Former President of MADD Arrested for DUI!
The FL DUI Group has previously posted on cops, movie stars and sports stars not being immune to DUI arrests. Well, as it turns out, former members of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving aren’t immune either.
A former president of the Gainesville chapter of Mother’s Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was arrested recently on a DUI charge by the Gainesville Police Department (GPD).
The GPD officer saw the former MADD president driving erratically, swerving and crossing lanes. The report states that she smelled of alcohol and had watery, bloodshot and dilated eyes. She also admitted to having four beers and was arrested for DUI after she failed roadside field sobriety tests. After being arrested, she registered a .234 and .239 on the breath alcohol test. Florida’s legal limit is .08.
It appears that no one is immune from a DUI arrest and a DUI arrest can have very serious consequences, both immediate and in the future. This is why if you are charged with DUI in Orlando or anywhere in Central Florida, it’s important that you seek dedicated and experienced DUI representation.
