You will lose your driver’s license in the state of Florida if you’re convicted of DUI. For a first offense, it can be anywhere from six months to a year. But for a first offense, you’ll be eligible for a hardship or a work permit during that time. If you’re convicted of more than one DUI, in the future, your license is suspended as well, and you’re not eligible for a hardship license during that period of time.
